I have sad news from Post 51 in East Point, Ga. Billy (Goober) Griffin a long time member of Post 51, passed away Monday night. He had
been moved to a hospice and we were told that it was just a matter of time. Please keep his family in your prayers. When I receive the information on his funeral I will send it out.

It is with sadness
that we notify you of the death of Nick Zingarelli, a long time member of
Avondale Estates American Legion #66. Nick passed away at 4:00 am yesterday.
The following is the funeral arrangements:
A. S. Turner Funeral Home located at 2773 North Decatur Road Decatur, GA with
phone number (404) 292-1551 is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation tomorrow March 23rd from 5:00 to 8:30 PM
Funeral service will be from the funeral home chapel at 12:00 noon on Wednesday
March 24th.
Internment will be immediately following at the Decatur Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers which was Nick's personal request that monetary donations be
made to the Decatur VA Recreational Fund which can be mailed to:
Atlanta VA Medical Center

Checks must be made out in the following manner:
Made out to Atlanta VA Hospital and where it says FOR on the check be sure to
